Abhishek Lifts Tamil Nadu State Ranking Tenpin Bowling Title at Chennai Tournament

Chennai, July 2: Abhishek D secured the title at the 1st Tamil Nadu State Ranking Tenpin Bowling Tournament, defeating Anand Raghav 2-0 in the final held at LetsBowl in Thoraipakkam, Chennai.

The championship match was played in a best-of-three format. Abhishek claimed the opening game 191-185 in a closely contested battle before registering a convincing 189-135 victory in the second game to complete a straight-games win and lift the trophy.

Earlier in the semifinals, Abhishek defeated Vishnu M 2-0 with scores of 214-166 and 196-194 to advance to the final.Anand Raghav booked his place in the title clash after defeating Akramullah Baig 2-0 in the other semifinal, recording scores of 215-161 and 196-161.

In the earlier rounds, Shabbir Dhankot topped the Round 2 standings with a total pinfall of 2,286 and an average of 190.5.

The tournament was conducted by the Tamil Nadu Tenpin Bowling Association, affiliated with the Tenpin Bowling Federation (India), at LetsBowl, Thoraipakkam, bringing together bowlers from across Tamil Nadu for the season’s first state ranking event.
