VS Hospitals Inaugurates Third Super-Speciality Hospital in Tondiarpet
Chennai: VS Hospitals has inaugurated its third super-speciality hospital in Tondiarpet, expanding access to advanced medical services and comprehensive cancer care for residents of North Chennai and neighbouring areas.
Spread across a land area of more than 26,500 square feet, the hospital is fully operational with 130 beds and a team of over 200 medical and paramedical professionals.
The facility offers comprehensive oncology services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. Its other specialities include cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, urology, neurology and orthopaedics. The hospital also houses a catheterisation laboratory, neonatal and paediatric intensive care units, and a dialysis centre.
As part of its community healthcare initiative, the hospital will provide free breast cancer screening until October 31, 2026, to promote early detection.
The inauguration was attended by Tamil Maanila Congress president G. K. Vasan, VS Hospitals Chairman and Managing Director Prof. Dr. S. Subramanian, Medical Director Prof. Dr. Sundar Subramanian, Executive Director Muthu Subramanian and Group Chief Operating Officer Prassanna Srinivasan.
According to the hospital’s management, the new facility is intended to reduce the need for patients from North Chennai and surrounding regions to travel long distances for specialised medical treatment.
