SRM Chancellor Conferred Honorary Fellowship by International College of Dentistry

Chennai: Dr. T.R. Paarivendhar, Founder Chancellor of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), has been awarded the prestigious Honorary Fellowship by the International College of Dentistry (ICD) Section VI.

The fellowship, rarely bestowed upon non-dentists/non-medical professionals, recognizes Dr. Paarivendhar’s outstanding contributions to education and healthcare delivery.

The honor was presented at ICD’s annual meeting and convocation, held at SRMIST in Kattankulathur, in collaboration with SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital.

Dr. Ian M. Doyle, ICD’s Global President, and Dr. Meera Verma, ICD Section VI President, presented the fellowship to Dr. Paarivendhar.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Paarivendhar emphasized the importance of dentistry and expressed gratitude to ICD for the recognition. He also highlighted the humanitarian work at SRM Kattankulathur Dental College, where free dental care is provided to the underprivileged.

“We don’t just treat the poor; we make them smile. Service to the less fortunate is truly service to God,” Dr. Paarivendhar said.
