Chennai Hosts Iconic Saree Run Celebrating Womanhood, Resilience, and Cultural Pride

Chennai: Taneira, a Tata product, in partnership with JJ Active, hosted a vibrant saree run in Chennai, bringing together 1721 women in a celebration of femininity, fitness, and freedom.

The event, flagged off by Ambuj Narayan, CEO of Taneira, and Coach Pramod from JJ Active, showcased the saree as a powerful emblem of identity, empowerment, and self-expression—the run aimed to redefine perceptions, highlighting the saree’s versatility and strength.

The Chennai chapter of the Taneira Saree Run follows successful editions in Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad, further strengthening the bond among women and celebrating the saree’s evolution alongside the modern woman.
