VIPOS 2025 Champions the Future of Precision Oncology in India
Chennai: The VS International Precision Oncology Summit (VIPOS 2025), organized by the VS Medical Trust, concluded successfully on July 20 at Hotel Green Park, Chennai. Held from July 18–20, the landmark event convened over 500 participants from across India, including eminent oncologists, researchers, pathologists, physicians, geneticists, and postgraduate students.
The summit spotlighted the rapidly evolving field of precision oncology—with focused discussions on cutting-edge diagnostics, targeted therapies, and individualized treatment approaches. Participants engaged in hands-on case studies, interactive panels, and academic presentations, exchanging ideas to tackle real-world challenges in cancer care.

Prestigious Oration & Award: The Prof. Dr. S. Subramanian Oration was delivered by Dr. Ramesh B. V. Nimmagadda, whose impactful work on collaborative oncology and real-world data earned him the VS Hospitals Award for Excellence in Oncology.
The summit was conceptualized and academically orchestrated by Dr. S. Nithya, Associate Director – Medical Oncology Services, with strategic leadership from Prof. Dr. S. Sundar (Medical Director) and Muthu Subramanian (Executive Director). The event was held under the inspiring guidance of Prof. Dr. S. Subramanian, India’s senior-most practising medical oncologist and Founder Chairman & Managing Director of VS Group of Hospitals.
Operational excellence was ensured by Prassanna Srinivasan, Group Chief Operating Officer, whose meticulous planning and commitment to collaboration shaped the summit’s success.
