Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital Celebrates 16th Graduation Day

Chennai: Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, a leading institution in medical education and research, celebrated its 16th graduation day, marking a significant milestone in the college’s history. The event recognized the academic achievements and dedication of 860 undergraduate and postgraduate students.

His Excellency Paramasivum Pillay Vyapoory, former vice president and acting President of Mauritius was the chief guest, Dr. S. Jagathrakshakan, Member of Parliament Former Minister, Dept. of Information & Broadcasting, Govt. of India, graced the occasion. The graduation day was presided over by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Rela chancellor of Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (B.I.H.E.R.), Dr. J. Srinisha Chairperson, N. Elamaran Managing Director, Sree Balaji medical college and Hospital, Prof M. Sundararajan, vice chancellor BIHER, Dr. S. Bhuminathan, Registrar and Dr. P. Sasikumar, Dean of Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital.

Gold medals and endowment prizes were awarded to outstanding students, university exam toppers, and prize exam winners. The dignitaries encouraged graduates to continue learning, innovating, and serving with compassion and integrity, emphasizing the importance of upholding ethical practices and prioritizing patient care.

Speaking at the convocation, Paramasivum Pillay Vyapoory said, “Today, as we celebrate the achievement of these students, I am honored to witness the bright future of healthcare taking shape.”

Dr. J. Srinisha, Chairperson, Sree Balaji Group of Medical College, and Hospital (SBMCH) congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments and encouraged them to strive to make a positive impact on the lives of others and use their knowledge and skills to create a brighter future for themselves and for generations to come.
