MRF Tyres Enters British Rally Championship with Top Drivers

Chennai: MRF Tyres, India’s No. 1 tyre manufacturer, announced its participation in the prestigious British Rally Championship 2025, with James Williams and Max McRae leading the charge.

MRF Tyres, with its rich heritage in motorsport tyres, aims to showcase Indian engineering and manufacturing on the global stage. The company has a reputation for producing high-performance tyres and is poised to make a significant impact in the world of rallying.

Williams, a professional rally driver, and McRae, a 20-year-old Scot, will leverage MRF’s research and development capabilities to develop tyres tailored for the demanding conditions of the nine-round event.

MRF Tyres has a successful track record in various national and international championships, including the FIA European Rally Championship, Italian Gravel Rally Championship, and Snow Tyres in Norway and Latvia.

With this new venture, MRF Tyres aims to demonstrate the quality of its products and inspire Indian motorsports enthusiasts, fostering a sense of national pride.

The first round of the 2025 season kicks off at the East Riding Stages Rally in Beverley, East Yorkshire, UK, on February 23.
