KCG College of Technology Celebrates 23rd Graduation Day, Confers Degrees to 915 Graduands
Chennai: KCG College of Technology held its 23rd Graduation Day ceremony, where 915 graduands received their academic degrees. C V Deepak, Airport Director, Airports Authority of India, was the Chief Guest.
The ceremony recognized academic excellence, with 15 rank holders from the 2023 Batch and 19 rank holders from the 2024 Batch receiving medals and cash awards totaling ₹7 lakhs. The institution also announced a 94% overall placement record for the graduating batches, with Civil and Electrical & Electronics Engineering departments achieving 100% placement in core companies.
DASHAGRIV Aerospace Pvt. Ltd, an alumni start-up founded by two Aerospace Engineering students, was inaugurated, and its scaled model, Meghnath, was unveiled. Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director of Startup TN, was the Guest of Honor, while Anand Jacob Verghese, Chairman, Hindustan Group of Institutions, presided over the ceremony.
In his inspirational graduation address, C V Deepak emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and encouraged graduands to build the right skills and work hard. Sivarajah Ramanathan encouraged students to approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset and consider entrepreneurship. Anand Jacob Verghese stressed the importance of values in professional success and encouraged graduands to dream big and give back to the community.
