Kauvery Hospital Launches Chennai’s First O-ARM with Navigation System
Chennai: Kauvery Hospital in Alwarpet, Chennai, has launched the city’s first O-ARM with Navigation system for advanced brain, spine, and orthopedic surgeries. The system was inaugurated by Dr. Narayanan V, Chairman of ISRO.
The O-ARM system provides:
- Real-time imaging during surgery
- 360-degree, CT-like images
- Precise decision-making and verification of implant placement and spinal alignment
- Seamless integration with Stealth Station Navigation, a GPS-like tool for the body
